Mixed messages - Why r men so cruel?

At age 5 if they like u they hit u.

At age 10 they hit u and pull your hair.

At age 13 when u return their affection they tell all of their friends which makes u look bad.

At age 16 they tell u that u r special when they r really dating several other girls.

At age 19 + there's more of the same.
